CDOC Contingency Driver Program Update
June 12, 2008 — Gordonsville, VA —
CDOC Contingency Drivers continue to add to their string of podium finishes in 2008. Joel Furey drove his Cayman S to a win and a second place finish in two races at the PCA Race at Lime Rock Park. Doug Crossman scored two podium finishes in his E class 911 at the PCA Race at Sebring, picking up the win in the second sprint race. VW GTI driver Ian Cole scored a win at Pueblo with NASA in GTS-2 leading the Porsches that made up places 2 through 6.
Drew Ewing of Fandango Racing cleaned up, picking up a pair of first place finishes at the NASA Southeast Summer Classic at Barber Motorsports Park in his 2002 BMW M3 in GTS-3 while leading a field of 22 cars to the checkered flag in the enduro.
