van Overbeek and Law wrap up 2007 ALMS season

October 20, 2007 — Salinas, California — The Flying Lizard No. 45 Porsche finished fourth in today's season finale at Laguna Seca. This finish secured second place in the drivers' championship for CDOC World Team Member Johannes van Overbeek and co-driver Joerg Bergmeister in the No. 45 Porsche, and second for the Flying Lizards in the team championship. In the No. 44 Porsche, teammates Seth Neiman, CDOC World Team Member Darren Law, and Lonnie Pechnik finished seventh in GT2. "Of course it can be disappointing to finish second when you are so close to victory, but I know that every Flying Lizard team member is extremely proud of our peformance this year. We had some good luck combined with a lot of setbacks, but we kept bringing the fight to the impressively quick No. 62 Risi Ferrari throughout the season. Thank you to the entire team for your dedication and hard work this year."

Next week, the Flying Lizard team will head back to their shop in Sonoma, California, to begin prep for the 2008 season. The team will announce more details later in the year. Thank you to our family, friends and fans for all of your support in 2007.
