World Team Drivers ALMS Long Beach Grand Prix Roundup

April 19, 2008 — Long Beach, CA — 

CDOC World Team Driver Johannes van Overbeek had a strong 3rd place finish at the ALMS Long Beach Grand Prix last weekend. Johannes and teammate Patrick Pilet of France finished on the podium for the second time this season, after posting a 2nd place finish on the streets of St. Petersburg in the previous race.

Flying Lizard has been off to a torrid start to the 2008 season - the team finished 1-2 at the 12 Hours of Sebring, with CDOC World Team Driver Darren Law scooping up 2nd place at the historic Florida airfield.

After three rounds of the 2008 ALMS season, van Overbeek sits in 3rd place in the points, 12 points out of the championship lead, while Darren Law is in 5th in the points, 24 points back.

The American Le Mans Series resumes action on May 16-18 at Miller Motorsports Park outside Salt Lake City, UT.
