PRODUCT DELIVERY SPECIALIST

DESCRIPTION:

CDOC, LLC, a leading master warehouse distributor and retailler of motorsports safety equipment, automotive high performance and racing parts, is searching for a product delivery specialist. The product delivery specialist will be a high energy, self-motivated sales professional with strong relationship building skills that will continue to grow revenues by ensuring above expectation customer satisfaction is achieved.

JOB SUMMARY:

To fill accurate orders to all customers, inspect outgoing shipments, and reconcile picking slips or manifests with actual items, and verify that goods are properly packaged in boxes for delivery to the recipient.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Picks outgoing goods from the warehouse bins and compares quantities shown on picking slips to actual items pulled and original customer order.
  2. Notes back/ordered items.
  3. Inspects items according to instructions; reports damaged goods to supervisor; and arranges for any necessary replacements.
  4. Enters receipt of goods picked into computerized shipping records, including item number, quantity shipped, price, etc., according to instructions.
  5. Uses dolly or carries small items to package preparation area within warehouse and places goods in appropriately sized box/packing materials for outgoing shipment.
  6. Spot-checks packing materials and supply inventory on a daily basis, reports needs to supervisor.
  7. Reconciles computer records with physical inventory according to established schedule.
  8. Reports any discrepancies to supervisor.

Qualifications:

  1. High school diploma or GED.
  2. Ability to input data on computer to create a daily inventory report.
  3. Accuracy in recordkeeping and in sorting, checking, counting, and verifying items requested on the picking slip.
  4. Ability to operate a forklift and order picker equipment.
  5. Possess a valid Virginia Driver's License.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Exposure to varying weather conditions and temperatures in warehouse and on loading dock.
  2. Physical strength to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  3. Good visual acuity to inspect shipments.
  4. Good finger dexterity to input data into inventory records.

PRODUCT RECEIVING SPECIALIST

DESCRIPTION:
